The Opportunity

As a subject matter expert, the Quality Manager will be responsible for compliance activities and audits, incident investigations and client responses, as well as providing high level advice on quality solutions to operational problems/issues at all levels.
 

About the Role

·         Oversee and lead Cura Health Pharmacy’s ongoing commitments to Quality

·         Be a strategic advisor to Cura Health Pharmacy regarding legislative and compliance standards.

·         Delivery of clinical expertise, proactively preventing medication incidents

·         Develop and embed organisational quality improvement structures, policies and processes including auditing, reporting, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

·         Lead the incident investigation and reporting process

·         Participate and support MAC (Medication Advisory Committee) meetings specific to quality and compliance.

·         Providing training to Pharmacy team members, driving continuous improvement initiatives

·         Maintain electronic healthcare systems such as Fred, Webstercare, Pak Trak, iCare, Bestmed

 

About you;

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in Australian pharmacy as a Registered AHPRA pharmacist

·         Experience working in either Aged Care or Hospital in Australia – highly regarded

·         Relevant clinical skills, supported by work experience and education/training

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly excel

·         Proven ability to lead and drive continuous quality improvement processes and standards

·         High attention to detail with proven examples of accuracy and quality assurance

·         Strong working knowledge of Pharmacy Incident reporting and Quality Use of Medicines in either Aged Care or Hospital

·         Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills

·         Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with key internal and external stakeholders including doctors and registered nurses

·         A self-starter, who thrives in a team environment  

 

Work Hours

This is a full-time salaried role working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
